Begin Reflecting and Weekly Menu

Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has many - not on your past
misfortunes, of which all men have some. ~ Charles Dickens

We only have just over one month until Thanksgiving Day. I would like to spend the next month reflecting on all that I am thankful for. It is a nice reminder to know that we (you and me) obviously have one blessing and that is access to internet. A tool that we can use to glimpse into other people's lives from around the world (hello, big blog addict speaking here), search out new recipes and instantly read insightful reviews from people who have tried them already, and keep in touch with family and friends near and far. So I am most thankful for the blessing of the internet in my life.

Making meals without having shopped with a menu and plan last week was burdensome and frustrating. So I made sure to have a detailed menu and list prepared for this week. Of course, Casey and I both work all weekend so I'm not sure yet when I'll get to go to the grocery store but when I do I will be prepared!

  1. I love the quote you put at the beginning of this post. It is very true that it's so easy to focus on the negative things that come our way and forget the many wonderful blessings that are bestowed upon us. Thank you so much for sharing! And wow, it sounds like I should have come and stayed at your place last week...what a bunch of delicious sounding meals. :)
